Bradford City come from behind to beat Leyton Orient 3-1 and reach Carabao Cup fourth round

Bradford City sealed their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after coming from behind to beat Leyton Orient 3-1. Macaulay Gillesphey's own goal put Leyton Orient ahead in the 39th minute, but Will Swan, Stephen Humphrys and Nick Powell all scored to complete the turnaround. Leyton Orient opened the scoring when Armando Dobra delivered a cross and Gillesphey sliced the ball into his own net past Jon McCracken. Bradford City responded well and equalized before half-time when Humphrys played Swan through and Swan finished calmly past Noah Phillips. Early in the second half, Leyton Orient almost regained the lead when Idris El Mizouni hit the crossbar. The ball came down and hit McCracken before bouncing away from danger. Bradford City then took control. In the 58th minute, Kayden Jackson crossed for Humphrys, who guided a header beyond Phillips to make it 2-1. Substitute Nick Powell made a major impact after coming on. He forced Phillips into a low save in the 63rd minute before heading against the post eight minutes later. Phillips also denied Swan and Powell during a three-man move four minutes from time, but Powell was not to be denied. In the 87th minute, he scored with a confident volley to seal a 3-1 win. Bradford City showed composure after falling behind and proved dangerous in different ways. Leyton Orient had their moments but were let down by poor defending of crosses and second balls in the box. The result means Bradford City will take part in the Carabao Cup fourth round.
